How to Join the Society
Membership of the Worthington Family History Society is open to anyone with an interest in the Worthington family surname. From 1 December 2023, the annual subscription to the Society has been reduced to just £10.00. You will though need to register here (link) and once approved, you will be able to log on to the Resources Section of the website and search the Registers and look at the Pedigrees of over 50 family lines.
In return we ask for your help in extending these family lines into the 18th and 19th centuries and even further to the modern day if possible*. You may see, once you have had a good search that your family is connected to one of these lines. That would be something remarkable!
We have membership of the Guild of One Name Studies (G.O.O.N.S.) and are also actively pursuing dna links to enable us to narrow down, and ultimately prove, connections between living members and our mutual ancestors.
